Give your new shrimp the best possible start in their new home. With our acclimatization kit, you can easily acclimatize the shrimp to the aquarium's water values ​​through a slow and gentle drip acclimatization, which reduces stress and increases the chance of a successful introduction.

How to use the kit

1. Prepare the bowl

  • Place the prawns in a clean bowl together with the transport water.

  • The bowl should hold at least 2 liters of water.

2. Mount the hose

  • Place the oxygen stone in the aquarium.

  • Place the other end of the tubing in the bowl with the shrimp.

3. Start the drip acclimatization

  • Open the valve slightly and gently suck on the end of the hose until the water starts to flow.

  • Adjust the valve to approx1 drop per second.

4. Let the prawns get used to it

  • Allow the aquarium water to drip into the bowl for approx2 hours.

  • During this time, the shrimp gradually adapt to their new water values.

5. Move over the prawns

  • Carefully catch the shrimp with a net.

  • Transfer them to the aquarium without pouring in the transport water.
