Mineral Junkie Bites is a complementary feed for invertebrates where minerals play a decisive role in the health and development of the animals. Minerals cannot be produced by the organism itself, but must be supplied through food. With Mineral Junkie Bites, your aquarium animals get access to all the important minerals they need.

The small sticks contain both inorganic and organically bound minerals that help prevent mineral deficiency, which in shrimp and other crustaceans often leads to problems with tenderization, slow growth and high mortality - especially among fry.

Mineral Junkie Bites can also be given to shells to prevent holes and damage in the shells. Shells grow better with a good supply of minerals, and their shells often become both stronger and smoother.

An abundant supply of minerals is very important when keeping and breeding shrimp, crayfish, crabs and shellfish. All invertebrates have an exoskeleton that is largely made up of minerals. However, minerals are not only needed for shell formation, but are also important for many biological functions, for example the activity of the muscles and nervous system.

The color cells of dwarf shrimp, so-called chromatophores, are connected to muscles. An optimal supply of minerals can therefore contribute to stronger and more intense colors in the shrimp. Many hormonal processes in the body are also dependent on the correct mineral balance.

In addition to minerals, Mineral Junkie Bites contain vegetable ingredients and herbal extracts that are rich in beneficial plant substances for active and healthy animals. The protein and fat content has been deliberately kept low to reduce the load on the water. The product therefore works excellently as a basic feed during the summer or when you are away for the weekend.

Feeding recommendation

For prawns, crayfish, crabs and shellfish:

• Feed every two to three days or as needed.

• Give as much as the animals eat within a few hours.
