Cryptocoryne undulata 'Broad Leaf'

Product description

About the species

This red version of Cryptocoryne undulata grows wild in rivers in Sri Lanka. It is a light plant that tolerates very different conditions in an aquarium. The appearance of the plant will depend in part on these conditions.

Low levels of light and nutrients will produce a relatively tall, greenish-brown plant with slow growth. Higher levels of light and nutrients, along with added CO2, will make the plant grow significantly faster and produce shorter leaves of a reddish-brown color.
