Formerly known as Echinodorus tenellus 'Green'. This small rosette-forming aquarium plant easily makes a 5-10 cm high carpet when the light is good and the bottom layer is rich in nutrients. Even at high intensity, this variety remains healthy green unlike the more common, more reddish, Helanthium tenellum. An easy and rather undemanding foreground plant.

Remove the plant from the cup, gently rinse away the nutrient gel and divide it into several small portions. Plant them with some space between each portion so they can establish.
In vitro plants are grown under sterile conditions and normally arrive free from snails, algae and pesticides, making them suitable for sensitive shrimp aquariums.
Requirements depend on the species. CO₂ and balanced plant nutrition often produce denser, healthier growth, but follow the light and care requirements in the product description.
