Pure Black Line Caridina shrimp prefer an aquarium with active soil, in our cultivation we use Environment Soil. Active soil is a substrate that buffers the pH value to be between 5 and 6.5, which creates a favorable environment for caridina shrimp.

A mature, stable aquarium with good filtration is best. Caridina and tiger shrimp generally thrive in soft, oxygen-rich water with stable values and no sudden changes.
What does Pure Black Line eat?
The shrimp graze on biofilm and microorganisms throughout the day. Supplement sparingly with quality shrimp food and do not leave food to spoil the water.
How should I acclimate Pure Black Line?
Acclimate slowly, preferably by the drip method, so temperature and water values can equalise. Do not add the transport water to the aquarium.
Can Pure Black Line be kept with fish?
A species-only aquarium provides the most security and best chance of raising young. Any fish should be small and peaceful, with plenty of hiding places available.
