Posthorn snail Blue is a beautiful and easy-care snail that fits perfectly in both nano aquariums and larger pet aquariums. With its light, almost transparent shell and dark body, it becomes a decorative feature while contributing to a cleaner aquarium.

This peaceful shell helps take care of leftover feed, organic matter and some types of algae. It works great with shrimp, peaceful fish, crabs and other shellfish. Posthorn snails can reproduce in fresh water and contribute to a natural ecosystem in the aquarium. The population usually adjusts to the amount of feed available, making them an excellent indicator of whether the aquarium is being overfed.
